No differences with anyone in party, claims Routhu
Rajamahendravaram: Former MLA and YSRCP city coordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao has said that he has no differences with anyone in the party, including Jakkampudi family.
“Service to people is the first priority for me and for that reason only I have come into politics, mainly into YSRCP and working as city coordinator from four years,” he said.
Participating in Meet-the-Press programme held at Rajahmundry Press Club here on Tuesday, he said the party president YS Jaganmohan Reddy would decide whether the party gives him ticket or not in the ensuing Assembly elections and everyone should obey the party's decision.
As an MLA for a decade, he strived for the development of the city and also worked as TTD Board member twice.
Earlier, he worked in All India Students Federation and later in National Students Union of India and worked as a student leader during school and college days.
Working as a secretary and president in Andhra Kesari Yuvajana Samithi and Rajahmundry Chamber of Commerce helped him get recognition. Former minister Jakkampudi Rammohan Rao, former MP Undavalli Arun Kumar and former MLA ACY Reddy were inspiration in politics, he said.
Former Chief Minister Dr YS Raja Sekhar Reddy became Chief Minister after three decades of service in Congress and YS Jaganmohan Reddy in a short span of time became a people's leader who was striving for the people.
There was only difference of one-and-a-half percent of votes though Telugu Desam Party and Jana Sena Party worked jointly in 2014 Assembly elections.
Responding to a question, he said it was the decision of the party to decide about members in the party.
