DUEBALL TOURNAMENT : Junaid stars in India’s victory

• Gets hero’s welcome in Atmakur town 
• Degree second year student felicitated on his achievement

Atmakur: In the all-India dueball championship competitions held in Himachal Pradesh on June 27, Indian team pipped the Zimbabwean team and Junaid of Andhra Pradesh emerged as the man of the series in the tournament. He arrived here on Saturday to a hero’s welcome. 

The college principal, people and sports lovers felicitated him and took out a victory rally in the town. People extolled accomplishments of Junaid Basha, a student of the second year Government Degree College here. 

In the best of five encounters that had taken place between both the countries, the Indian team routed the rivals in four matches.
