Cancer screening tests held at Government Maternity Hospital 

Tirupati: Government Maternity Hospital in Tirupati organised a health camp on Sunday on the occasion of ‘Doctors Day’. Screening tests were conducted for women and awareness was created on breast cancer and cervical cancer and its symptoms and precautions.

Screening tests and general health examination have been done for hospital staff also. Hepatitis vaccine was administered free of cost for all 90 women participated in the camp. Hospital Superintendent Dr V Bhavani, Dr Sowjanya Kumari, Dr Revathi, Dr Chandrasekhar, Dr K Sunitha, Dr Sarmishta, Dr Sindhura, Dr Venkata Narayana and medical students participated.
