Harsha Kumar dares Chinarajappa for debate on funds spent
Rajamahendravaram: Former MP G V Harsha Kumar posed a challenge to Deputy Chief Minister Nimmakayala Chinarajappa to come for an open debate on spending of SC sub-plan funds.
Speaking to mediapersons at his office here on Monday, he said he is ready to discuss about the SC sub-plan funds spent during his 10-year tenure as Amalapuram MP. He also asked the Deputy Chief Minister to come with the details of funds spent during nine years’ regime of Chandrababu Naidu also.
Due to former chief minister Nallari Kiran Kumar Reddy's initiative, the SC sub-plan got security through an Act and the entire credit goes to Kiran Kumar Reddy, he said.
He further said that Chinarajappa is an innocent and good person but does not have control on his department. He is not in position to give directions even to superintendent of police in the state and he does not know about the things happenings in his department.
His involvement is not there in selecting Director-General of police also, though he is holding the portfolio of Home, Harsha Kumar averred. Prime Minister Narendra Modi spent an amount of Rs 354 crore for his foreign trips for the last four years. He is spending the people's money as his own, he flayed.
