Jagan gets rousing reception at Yanam
Kakinada: YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy was given a rousing reception at union territory Yanam ( about 3o km from here) when he crossed Yedurlanka-Yanam bridge on Monday morning from Komaragiri in Mummidivaram mandal.
A large number of people greeted him en route Though it is raining, people stood on either side of the bridge and cheered Jagan. He reached Tallarevu mandal from Sunkaravaripalem and from there to Pate Ingram.
At Sunkaravaripalem, schoolchildren from nearby school came running towards Jagan and greeted him. Responding to school children’s gesture, Jagan spoke to them for a few minutes and enquired about their welfare and reached Chintakulavaripet which falls under Ramachandrapuram Assembly segment in East Godavari.
The YSRCP chief participated in the installation of Abhayanjaneya Swamy idol at the village and participated in the pujas. At the place, the locals brought to his notice about the difficulties in getting potable water though River Godavari is flowing in their area. The locals complained that though they paid Rs 4,000 for tap connection to panchayat still the connection was not given even after four years.
After finishing lunch at Chintakulavaripeta, Jagan trekked to Korana. At Korana the party activists welcomed him with garlands. At Korana village, he greeted a woman standing with baby in arms. Jagan concluded his padayatra on Monday at his camp in Kolanaka suburbs.
