TD committed to welfare of poor, says Govt Whip

Kadapa: Rajampet MLA and Government Whip Meda Mallikarjuna Reddy has said that state government is committed to improve the living standards of poor and downtrodden section of the state. As part of Grama Darshini-Grama Vikasam programme, the Government Whip participated in various developmental activities in Sidhavatam and Rajampet mandals on Monday.

Addressing the gathering after inaugurating the houses under the NTR Housing Scheme at Karampalli village in Rajampet mandal, the MLA said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is committed to fulfil all poll promises of 2014 despite government is facing serious financial crisis. Meda has mentioned the TDP is the only government which is providing the quality houses for lesser price to poor.

He has stated 2,000 houses were sanctioned in Rajampet Assembly constituency. Meanwhile, Marketing Minister C Adinarayana Reddy has participated in Grama Darshini-Grama Vikasam programme at 17th and 18th divisions in Jammalamadugu town and enquired with the public about their problems.

Several people bought to the notice of the Minister that they were denied pensions and new ration cards. The Minister immediately instructed the officials to provide them for all eligible beneficiaries. Local TDP leaders were also present.
