Welfare of Muslims possible only in TD rule: Government Whip
Kadapa: TDP MLC and Government Whip MA Sharif has said that development of Muslims in the state is only possible with the Telugu Desam government. Sharif, who is TDP’s political observer for Rayachoti Assembly constituency, visited several localities in the town on Saturday, as part of Nagara Darshini programme and interacted with the people.
He asked them about ongoing developmental works in the town. Speaking on the occasion, the MLC said that Muslims were insecure during the regime of the Congress government due to various reasons. After coming to power in 2014, he stated that the TD government has ensured security for Muslims and introduced several welfare schemes for their all-round development. Sharif explained to town residents that the TDP came to power in the truncated state with deficit budget.
But, the government continued welfare schemes and development works keeping interests of people in mind. The Government Whip urged the Muslims to provide education to their children as it is the only way to eradicate poverty in the community. TDP district president R Srinivasulu Reddy, TDP leaders Anwar Hussain, S Shyam, Moosa Karimullah and others were present.
