Vemana varsity Vice-Chancellor thanks govt for release of funds

Kadapa: Yogi Vemana University Vice-Chancellor Prof Ramachandra Reddy on Wednesday said that the Rs 40- crore budgeted funds for the University along with the relevant administrative clearances were released.
Disclosing this to media on Wednesday, he said that Rs 17 crore has been allocated for completing various buildings and Rs 23 crore for implementing various developmental programmes.
He said that he would spend Rs 8 crore for acquiring land and Rs 6 crore for construction of an auditorium. He thanked the State government, governing council members and officials of AP Council for Higher Education for release of funds.
