Delay in GIS survey of commercial areas questioned by GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar

Guntur: GMC Commissioner Srikesh B Lathkar directed the officials to conduct GIS survey in the commercial places as early as possible. 

He questioned the officials why they did not conduct the survey so far.

He said that if this survey is conducted, unassessed and under assessed houses will come to light and they will correct tax, so that the GMC will get more revenue.

He directed the officials to engage additional teams to conduct the GIS survey in the commercial areas. He said that they will meet again on August 10.

He also questioned reasons why they did not conduct the GIS survey in the commercial areas. 

He said that there is need to conduct this survey which will bring more revenue to the GMC and expressed ire on the GMC officials for delay in the conducting the survey.
