All set for Dharma Porata Deeksha at ABM College in Ongole

Ongole: The Prakasam district officials have said that they have made fool proof arrangements for the tour of the Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to Ongole and his participating in the Dharma Porata Deeksha on Saturday.

The District Collector Vadrevu Vinay Chand said that the Chief Minister will arrive by helicopter at ABM College in Ongole by 02.40 p.m and reach the venue of the Dharma Porata Deeksha, the Mini Stadium by 03.00 p.m on Saturday. He will spend around 3hours in the town and will leave to Vijayawada at 05.30 p.m. 

The Collector participated in the coordination committee meeting with the JC S Nagalakshmi, AJC D Markandeyulu, DRO Venkata Subbaiah and other officials. He directed the officials to keep ready of the tent, seating for VIPs, drinking water, refreshments, bio-toilet, barricading and fire tender at the helipad. 

He instructed them to keep an ambulance with expert doctors, blood units, medicine and other lifesaving equipment as part of the convoy. He asked the officials to beautify the way the Chief Minister reaches the venue and see no stray animals like dogs and buffaloes obstruct the convoy.

Ministers Siddha Raghavarao and P Narayana, Prakasam district TDP president and Ongole MLA Damacharla Janardhana Rao inspected the arrangements made at the venue along with the officials.

Siddha Raghavarao said that the Central government has been doing injustice to the state by not implementing the promises of AP Bifurcation Act. He said that the Chief Minister is protesting against the injustice done by the Union government in the Dharma Porata Deeksha and asked the public to make it successful.

Narayana said that the Central government is cheating the state by not fulfilling the 24 promises. He said that the Central Minister Rajnath Singh tries to assure to implement all promises to the state, but the issues like Railway Zone at Visakhapatnam, steel plant in Kadapa district etc are not implemented so far. 

The Central government is cheating the state by rejecting the special category status though it is being implemented in 11 states now. MLA Janardhana Rao said that in protest against the Central government, the Chief Minister is conducting Dharma Porata Deeksha.

He said that after Tirupati, Visakhapatnam and Kakinada, Chandrababu Naidu is doing Deeksha in Ongole. He announced that they are expecting about one lakh people from all constituencies. 

The district SP Bhusarapu Satya Yesubabu, Ongole DSP B Srinivasa Rao and other police officials inspected the arrangements and security posted at different locations in the town. He said that the department has appointed 1,000 personnel for the meeting with the safety and security aspects in mind.
