Guru Poornima celebrated with fervour

Srikakulam: Guru Poornima was celebrated with religious fervour across the district on Friday. In Srikakulam city special prayers were offered and free meals were provided at all Shiridi Sai temples at Balaga, Illisupuram, Mondeti Veedhi and Dwaraka Nagara.

Guru Pournima was celebrated at SSR Puram in Etcherla mandal and Sai Giri near Ponnada village in the same mandal. Devotees thronged the Shirdi Sai temples and had darshan. In G Sigadam, Rajam, Palakonda, Palasa and other areas special prayers were offered to Shiridi Sai Baba.
