Chandrababu Naidu mourns death of Karunanidhi

Amaravati: Chief Minister and TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu expressed grief over the death of DMK patriarch and former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi (94) on Tuesday. Chandrababu Naidu said that Karunanidhi was a great politician and he had achieved success in various fields including films, literature and also as a journalist. 

“His demise was not only a loss to Tamil Nadu but it is also a great loss to the entire country,” he added. IT Minister Nara Lokesh described Karunanidhi as a prolific writer who wove magic with words, a leader who was always revered by people, a politician who played a huge role in shaping national politics and a fighter who always stood for Tamil identity.
