Awareness, medical camps on dengue begins in kakinada

Kakinada: As per the directive of District Collector Kartikeya Mishra, the municipal corporation health wing has taken up wariness programmers and medical camps to check spread of dengue cases in Yetimoga, Parlova Peta fisher folk areas and in Gaigolupadu area in Kakinada city limits on Wednesday.
Women Self-Help Group members of the areas had taken up door-to-door campaign on precautions to be taken to prevent the spared of dengue.
The schoolchildren in respective areas were also examined.
For suspected cases, medical examinations were conducted and required medicines were distributed.
Additional municipal commissionaire Satyaveni supervised the conduct of the awareness and medical camps.
