Lighting enhances Ranganayakula Mandapam looks

Tirumala: TTD EO Anil Kumar Singhal on Friday inspected the architectural lighting system set up inside Ranganayakula Mandapam in Tirumala temple on Friday. To give an enhanced look to the ancient sculpting of the temple, TTD has come up with an innovative idea.

On a trial basis, TTD has completed the lighting effects in Ranganayakula Mandapam. MLC Magunta Srinivasulu Reddy has come forward to bear the expenditure for the special lighting system. Along with EO, JEOs KS Srinivas Raju and P Bhaskar, SE (Electrical) Venkateshwarlu were also present. Later in the evening, JEO inspected the Brahmotavam arrangements.

He said as a part of enhanced security measures, Command and Control Centre with Video Wall and CCTVs were installed in Tirumala. During his inspection in Tirumala on Friday evening, the JEO visited Video Wall set up in Command and Control Centre at a cost of Rs 1.6 crore.

He said 283 CCTV cameras have also been installed at a cost of Rs 5.6 crore in Mada streets and Srivari temple. These advanced security apparatus would help to vigil Brahmotsavams and other such events in a better way. Later, he inspected Mada streets, outer ring road, permanent toilets etc. along with CVSO in-charge Siva Kumar Reddy, SE-2 Ramachandra Reddy and other officials.
