Villages to be linked to videoconference facility says Zilla Parishad chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju

Eluru: Zilla Parishad chairman Mullapudi Bapiraju has said they have been trying for best administration through real time governance to suit the vision of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu.

He inaugurated a videoconference meeting hall at ZP office build at cost of Rs 5 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that the videoconferencing would help in taking the welfare measures to the doorsteps of rural habitations. 

At present, the videoconference was connected to mandal development offices. Soon, the same would be brought under the purview of village-level.

Stating that the government had been implementing welfare schemes from pensions to Chandranna Pelli Kanuka, the ZP chief informed that the videoconference would be linked to Panchayats so that villages get benefited from real time governance. 

When the district administration needs to convey administrative decisions within 36 hours to the villages in urgency, the videoconference would come in handy.

Bapiraju said that the videoconference hall built with state-of-the-art equipment would help in holding review meetings with village-level officials.

He thanked ZP CEO Nagarjunasagar and Panchayat Raj engineers for building the conference hall in short span of time.
