Kakinada Mayor distributes clay idols of Lord Ganesha

​Kakinada: Mayor Sunkara Pavani distributed clay idols of Lord  Ganesha for Ganesh Chaturdi festival. The idols were made under the supervision of National Green Core organisation which advocates and propagates for protection of the environment in the district in a big way.

While complementing the National Green Core activists for taking up the distribution of clay idols for environment protection, the mayor asked the school children who participated in the distribution to propagate for clay idols in place of Plaster of Paris idols. National Green Core East Godavari unit president Kesari Srinivasa Rao, 36th division corporator Lakshmi Prasanna and others participated.
