Godrej palm oil factory gets National Safety Award

​Dwaraka Tirumala: Godrej Agrovet Limited, Palm Oil factory at Ch Pothepalli in West Godavari district has been awarded National Safety Award (NSA) for the performance year 2016 by Directorate General, Factory Advice Service & Labour Institutes, Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India.

The award was received by Nasim Ali, CEO-Oil Palm Plantations from Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Minister of State (I/C) for Labour and Employment, Govt of India at the awards function held at Ambedkar International Center in New Delhi on Monday.

Speaking on this occasion, MSMS Kumar, General Manager said that this award was possible with continuous support and guidance of Dy Chief Inspector of Factories, Eluru, Factories Dept, Govt of Andhra Pradesh, Nasim Ali and other senior leaders of Godrej Agrovet Limited.  

“This award is a true testimony for its good initiatives and commitment as part of best safety practices, for ensuring safety of its plant and people,” the company claimed. Naga Praveen, HR Manager, staff and other workers congratulated Nasim Ali, Kumar and the team for getting this award.
