Delite Expo 2018 inaugurated in Vijayawada

Vijayawada: Central MLA Bonda Umamaheswara Rao inaugurated the three-day Mega All India Electrical Exhibition ‘Delite Expo 2018’ at IV-Palace here on Friday.

Speaking to the media at the inaugural programme, the MLA complemented the organisers of the expo. 

He recalled that there were five electricity distribution companies before the state was bifurcated. 

Now, after bifurcation of the state, there were two only at Tirupati and Visakhapatnam. 

He requested Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to establish another electricity power distribution company at Vijayawada. 

For the last 14 years, when the expo was organised at Vijayawada, companies from both the Telugu speaking states participated in the expo, he added.

Multinational companies like Legrand, GM, Neurosis, Gold Medal, Norwood, Sudhakar Pipes, PVC pipes, Kumar PVC, Vihaan, Vimal wires participated in the expo and exhibit their products.

About 50 stalls were arranged at the expo and denizens can visit and know about latest advanced electrical items at the expo from 10 am to 8.30 pm.

Electrical Dealers Association president Kameswara Sarma, Ramesh Kumar Jain, PS Avadhani and others were present.
