HPCL-VR flags off Swachh Visakha rally

 Visakhapatnam: As part of Swachhta Hi Sewa, Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, Visakha Refinery (HPCL-VR) organised a rally from HPCL-VR main gate to Yarada Park on Monday to promote awareness on cleanliness and Swachh Visakha. 

While flagging off the rally, Executive Director, HPCL-VR A S V Ramanan informed that HPCL- Visakha Refinery is observing Swachhta Hi Sewa from September-15 to October 2 and the refinery has organised various programmes including street plays, puppet shows, administering Swachhta pledges at schools, colleges, residential colonies, kiosks, distribution of cotton bags, distribution of Swachhta pamphlets, jingles in local radios, competitions and cleanliness drives for bringing awareness on Swachh Bharat in coordination with the GVMC.

GVMC Additional Medical and Health Officer Murali Mohan applauded the HPCL-VR for the initiatives taken under Swachta Hi Sewa to bring awareness among public and replacing plastic carry bags by distributing cotton bags.

Y Sriramulu, Chief General Manager-Technical, V Ratan Raj, CGM-Operations and N Ramachandran Narisetty Rajarao, GM (HR), Chief Manager (PR) U S Sarma and many employees were present in the rally.
