Erring Fair Price dealers warned of stern action

Guntur: Joint collector A M D Imtiaz warned stringent action on fair price shop dealers, who failed to discharge their duties and violate the norms. He said the government will take criminal action against them under the PDS Control order.

According to the order, he said if the fair price shop dealers will collect higher price, fail to open shops within the scheduled time, for under weighment and not giving receipt to cardholder, we will act under the Section 420. He addressed a meeting held at Revenue Kalyana Mandapam in Guntur city on Wednesday to create awareness on PDS Control order.
