SCS possible if RaGa elected PM: Congress
Ongole: To implement the AP Reorganization Act in true spirit and announce Special Category Status and bring industries and employment to the state along with the introduction of new welfare schemes, the Congress should come into power in state and at Center, announced the party leaders.
The DCC president, Eda Sudhakar Reddy, Kondepi Congress convener Dr Raj Vimal Gurrala visited the Kanduluru, Marlapadu and M Nidamanuru villages in Tangutur mandal on Friday and interacted with the locals as part of the Intintiki Congress campaign.
Collecting Re 1 as party fund from the public, Raj Vimal said that Congress should be brought back to power to waive farm loans up to Rs 2 lakh, waive DWCRA loans, offer 4 free cooking gas cylinders every year, raise old aged and disabled pensions to Rs 3000 per month and implement SC ST sub-plan effectively etc.
Also participating in the campaign at Manduvavari Palem in Ongole rural, Sudhakar Reddy said that Rahul Gandhi should be made prime minister to get enough funds for Polavaram and Veligonda projects, railway zone, Kadapa steel plant, Ramayapatnam port, NIMZ at Kanigiri and industries to the district to generate more employment.
He also announced that Congress will bring fuel and gas into GST to make them affordable to all.
