SACET students win prize in SHAR competition

Chirala: The St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology secretary, Vanama Krishna Rao and correspondent Srimanthula Lakshmana Rao announced that the students from their college has won the first prize in the Science Experiments Competition held by the Satish Dhawan Space Center, SHAR  as part of the International Space Week celebrations.

The college principal said that the Satish Dhawan Space Center organised a Science Experiments Competition at ASN Women’s Engineering College in Tenali. 

The third year ECE students team of M Siva Chandrasekhar and G Nagamalleswara Rao competed with 72 teams from various colleges in the state and won the first prize, he said.

The ECE HoD said that the students designed a space rocket model under the guidance of Prof AM Vara Prasad of the Center for ISRO GNS Studies in the college.

The students and teaching and non-teaching staff from all departments appreciated the students for winning the first prize in the prestigious competition.
