Chittoor: ZP Chairperson Girvani Chandra Prakash on Sunday described the poll survey of former Congress MP Lagadapati Rajagopal pertaining to 2019 general elections as a ‘trash’ and ‘baseless’ and aimed to create confusion among TDP cadre in the district.

Girvani said the TDP would certainly win all the 14 Assembly constituencies in Chittoor district without giving a scope to the YSRCP to field its candidates even in certain seats.

It may be mentioned here that Lagadapati Rajagopal released poll survey reports relating to AP in which he categorically mentioned that YSRCP would win the polls winning 109 seats followed by 66 seats by TDP. In Chittoor district, out of 14 seats, the survey disclosed that TDP would win only 4 seats and the remaining 10 seats would goes to YSRCP leaving a blank to Jana Sena and BJP.

Speaking to The Hans India here on Sunday, Girvani said the TDP would win all the 14 seats in the ensuing elections. “During last Assembly elections, the TDP won 6 seats and lost 8 seats to YSRCP due to various reasons and factors.

With district has been witnessing tremendous development in the last four-and-half year's during the TDP regime, the district has been stood in first place in the country in the implementation of ODF and well equipped with industries and educational institutions,” she said. She added with the diversion of HNSS waters to the district, it would enrich the prospects of agriculture.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, IT Minister Nara Lokesh, Industries Minister N Amaranatha Reddy, District In-charge Minister Atchannaidu and former minister B Gopalakrishna Reddy are actively monitoring the developmental activities and lending their moral support for strengthening the party cadre. Girvani challenged that she would quit from the politics if the TDP failed to win majority seats in the district.
