Jagan vows to protect farmers

Bobbili(Vizianagaram): Leader of Opposition Y S Jaganmohan Reddy assured that he would take care of every farmer if he comes into power and said that will give loans at lower interest. On Saturday, he interacted with farmers during his Padayatra in Bobbili constituency of Vizianagaram district. He walked through ITI colony, Indiramma colony, Mettavalasa, Polavanivalasa of Bobbili mandal. K Varalakshmi and Krishna Rao told the YSRCP chief that they were denied a house under the housing scheme.  

P Satyarao of Bobbili explained that he was given a letter that his loan amount of Rs 27,000 was waived but later the bank officials sent a notice to him to pay Rs 58,400 including the principal and interest. Later, contract and outsourced employees of APTransco met Jagan at Mettavalasa and appealed to him to protect the rights of labour. Some of the farmers who lost their lands during the construction of growth centre in Bobbili met Jagan and complained that they were not given jobs in any firm there.
