Andhra Bank staff take out vigilance awareness rally
Ongole: The Andhra Bank Ongole zone employees organised a vigilance awareness rally in Ongole on Wednesday. The zonal manager P Ramakrishna led the rally in which the branch managers, staff in the Ongole zone participated.
The rally was organised from the Andhra Bank main branch in Nellore bus stand area to the Collectorate and returned to the bank.
Addressing the gathering, Ramakrishna said that corruption has become a major obstacle to the financial, political and social development of our country.
He asked everyone to work for the eradication of corruption from the society. He wished everyone to follow high standards of morals and support the fight against corruption.
He also asked them to give utmost importance to cleanliness and respect the laws of the land.
He announced that similar vigilance awareness rally will be conducted in Nellore on Thursday as part of the movement against corruption.
AGM P Krishnaiah said that every employee should keep public interest in mind and work for eradication of corruption in the workplace.
Currency chest manager PK Rajeswara Rao said that as part of the call from the head office to fight against the corruption in the country, they are organising the vigilance awareness rally in the zone.
The other AGMs, chief managers, branch managers and other employees of the Andhra Bank in the Ongole zone also participated in the rally.
