Andhra Bank staff take out Vigilance Awareness rally in Ongole

Ongole: The staff and customers of Andhra Bank Prakasam zone organized a Vigilance Awareness Rally from Zonal Office in Bhagyanagar to Prakasam Bhavan in Ongole as part of the Vigilance Awareness Week being held from October 28 to November 2, on Friday evening.

In the rally organized with slogans and placards by the employees, Andhra Bank AGM N Ganesh said that as part of the efforts to create a corruption-free India, the 100 branches in the Ongole zone has observed the Vigilance Awareness Week by conducting competitions and seminars to school students, customers and employees.

He opined that the increasing corruption in the country is damaging the political, financial and social systems and advised the public to take it as a responsibility to fight it. The Ongole main branch manager C Chandra Reddy, chief manager B Satyanarayana, retired employees association leaders PK Rajeswara Rao, C Bhaktavatsala Rao, employees union leaders S Rajesh Khanna and other managers and employees also participated in the rally and took the pledge of integrity at Ambedkar statue.
