Great poet Valmiki birth anniversary celebrated in Guntur

Guntur: Citing the example of the Great poet Valmiki, who composed epic Ramayana in Sanskrit, Joint Collector AMD Imtiaz said that if a person worked hard, he would become a great person. 

He urged the youth to draw inspiration from Valmiki. He reminded the youth that the government is constructing study circle building for BCs very soon. 

He was addressing a meeting held on the occasion of Valimiki birth anniversary celebrations on Wednesday. 

MLA Modugula Venugopala Reddy said that Saint Valmiki explained significance of human relations, values, ideal administration through Ramayan. 

The MLA explained the welfare schemes being introduced by the State government for the welfare of BCs. 

Earlier, AMD imtiaz and Modugula Venugopala Reddy garlanded to the portrait of poet Valimiki.

SC Corporation executive director Saurayya, BC Corporation executive director Reddamma, were among those present.
