Attack on Jagan aimed to get sympathy: Whip PGVR Naidu
Visakhapatnam: Government Whip PGVR Naidu (Gana Babu) said the attack on YSRCP supremo Y S Jaganmohan Reddy at Vizag airport was aimed to get sympathy among people to secure votes in the ensuing elections.
Addressing media here on Thursday, Gana Babu said that such attacks on political leaders were condemned by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and other leaders. He took serious objection on Jagan releasing photos on the incident after reaching Hyderabad.
“This kind of political stunts could not affect TDP as Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had taken up many welfare activities among various sections of people in the state,” he said.
He also countered all the allegations raised against the TDP and pointed out that the incident took place at airport which comes under Central government’s jurisdiction.
The Special Investigation Team which was formed to find out the conspiracy behind the attack on Jagan by J Srinivas, the YSRCP follower, will come out with real facts soon.
