APCCIF partnership with SAP will act as catalyst to industries in city

Visakhapatnam: Andhra Pradesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry Federation (APCCIF) in association with SAP, a cloud-based company and market leader in enterprise application software, announced the next leg of growth matters initiative for emerging businesses in Vishakhapatnam through ‘Dare to Dream’ awards. 

These awards are to recognise and reward individuals and leaders, who have demonstrated exemplary success in their domains here on Saturday.

Appreciating the SAP for their services, APCCIF president G Sambasiva Rao said that the ‘Dare to Dream’ awards would help businesses in Vishakhapatnam demonstrate the amazing work that they have been doing while offering others a chance to learn from their experiences and adopt best practices. 

He said the APCCIF partnership with SAP would act as a catalyst to the industries in Vishakhapatnam and fuel their growth, prosperity and competitive edge in the digital age.

While presenting the awards, SAP India, head of commercial sales business, Pradip Sharma said that to truly succeed in this rapidly evolving economy, it is critical for SMEs to go digital now. 

As an initiative, growth matters are the effort to enable companies to take their business to the next level by intelligently connecting people, things and business, he added. 

The SAP would continue to be the partner of choice for Vishakhapatnam’s organisations who are determined to grow and transform their businesses, he pointed out.

Driven as part of ‘Growth Matters’ initiative, the ‘Dare to Dream’ awards would expand to 15 more cities across India, he added.

The event witnessed sharing of success of stories, engaging of ideas to get a perspective of best practices by way of networking with industry leaders. 

Based on the application and criteria, APCCIF identified, the top 14 from diverse sector who were felicitated at the ‘Dare to Dream’ awards. 

Welcoming the SAP to Visakhapatnam, MP Dr K Hari Babu reiterated the need to share software knowledge developed by them to all the industries based in Visakhapatnam in particular and Andhra Pradesh in general.

Pydah Krishna Prasad, Chairman and M Sudhir, Vice Chairman of APCCIF, Visakhapatnam Zone also spoke.
