Rajamahendravaram:  YSR Congress Party city co-ordinator Routhu Suryaprakasa Rao and city president Nandepu Srinivas have said that Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu should feel shame for the attack on YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy at Visakhapatnam Airport recently and he should own responsibility to the incident.

Addressing a press conference at Press Club here on Saturday, the duo said the people in the state as well in the country were shocked over the attack. For the first time, a ruling party attacked an opposition leader with an ill intention and the people are condemning the attitude of state government, they said.

``Chief Minister is the creator of Operation Garuda and the people are embarrassed as he flays opposition leader believing the words of a cinema actor Sihivaji. Former chief minister Dr YS Rajasekhar Reddy, as opposition leader, met Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu when he was attacked at Alipiri in Tirupati in the year 2003 and enquired about his health,’’ the YSRCP leaders stated. But, the Chief Minister has not even enquired about the health of YS Jaganmohan Reddy, but making cheap comments on him degrading himself, they said.
