Andhra Pradesh Food Festival begins
Rajamahendravaram: Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority (APTA) divisional manager DJS Prakash has said that Andhra Food Festival will be held from November 3 to 10 at River Bay Resorts. The food fest is aimed to showcase different varieties of Andhra Pradesh traditional foods. Disclosing the details at a press conference held at River Bay Resorts here on Saturday, he said that APTA has decided to promote the local dishes of the region. Thetraditional foods are healthier than jink foods. Andhra cuisine is the combination of good nutrition and ingredients.
Sofar, the food fest conducted in 10 places in Chittoor, Anantapur, Nellore, Krishna, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram and Guntur districts and the festival will also be held. In the remaining districts shortly. Tourists of other areas within the state also enjoying the food fest along with foreign tourists. Apart from food fest, APTA also conducting cookery competitions to identify the best Andhra Thali.
