AC bus shelter inaugurated on MG Road

Vijayawada: Good news to the bus passengers who face hardships due to sweltering heat in summer in Vijayawada city.  Mayor Koneru Sridhar along with the municipal Commissioner J Nivas inaugurated the AC bus shelter in Labbi Pet on MG Road in Vijayawada on Monday.

Prakash Arts built the AC bus shelter at a cost of Rs 18 lakh on BOT basis. Speaking on the occasion, mayor Sridhar said the AC bus stop would be very useful to the bus passengers in the city. 

He said Vijayawada is developing rapidly since bifurcation of the state and public amenities are increasing for the last few years. 

He said free WiFi facility is also arranged in the AC bus shelter for the convenience of bus passengers. 

Local Corporator Chennupati Gandhi, VMC co-option member  Chennupati Usharani, VMC officials and locals attended the inauguration event.
