Hyderabad: Close shave for bus passengers

Sangareddy: As many as 26 passengers traveling in a bus had a narrow escape due to the timely action taken by the bus driver and crew, before the bus caught fire and was gutted.

A private bus was carrying passengers from Mumbai to Hyderabad. It reached Ramachandrapuram on the outskirts of the city on Friday morning. Noticing that smoke was coming from the engine, the alert driver stopped the bus on the road side at Nagulamma temple.

Then, he and the crew alerted the passengers and made them alight from the bus immediately as the fire started spreading all over vehicles. The passengers were all praise for the driver and its crew for their timely action in saving their lives.
