AgriGold depositors to launch agitation from Nov 14

Eluru: AgriGold depositors will launch agitation seeking justice in a phased manner from November 14.

This was decided by the meeting of AP AgriGold Agents and Customers Welfare Association held here on Sunday. Announcing the agitation plan, honourary president of the association and CPI assistant secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao.

Participating as chief guest of the meeting, Rao said that the association was formed by taking all depositors on a single platform and organising struggle for four years. 

Though the government conceded to resolve their problem, the association had decided to intensify agitation until the depositors get compensation.
 
As part of the agitation from November 14 to 20, the agitators would organise dharnas at submit representations to MPs and MLAs in West Godavari district. 

The agents and customers would organise rallies from November 21 to 30. From December 1 onwards, the depositors would start indefinite fast camp in Vijayawada. 
  
The association leaders Dega Prabhakar, Tirupati Rao and others also spoke on the occasion.
