Krishna tops in implementation of welfare schemes

 Vijayawada: District Collector B Lakshmikantham said on Thursday that Krishna district stood first in the state in implementation of welfare schemes.

He conducted teleconference and spoke to the officials about the implementation of welfare schemes and developmental activities.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said Krishna district stood first in implementation of ration through the fair price shops with 100 percent satisfaction levels. 

He said the district got 100 percent satisfaction levels in implementation of Chandranna Bheema scheme, 80 percent on Amma canteens, 100 percent in skill development and 84 percent on free sand distribution.

He appealed to the bankers to sanction loans under various schemes being implemented by SC Corporation, Minority Finance Corporation, BC Corporation etc. 

He said more than 3000 beneficiaries were waiting for the sanction of loans for grounding units.
