Jagan completes 300 days of walkathon
Parvathipuram (Vizianagaram): YSRCP president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who completed 300 days in his Praja Sankalpa Yatra on Sunday, interacted with various sections of people during his walkathon. To mark the completion of 300 days of his yatra, Jagan planted a sapling at Ullibhadra village of Garugubilli in Kurupam constituency.
A team of employees, AP Transco contract workers who met him here, alleged that the state government was not recognising and regularising their services though they had been in the service for the past few years and urged him to do justice to them. Jagan started his Padayatra from Kotavani Valasa and interacted with locals.
The evacuees of Thotapalli reservoir met him at Dadapusila village and explained that they had lost houses, cattle and lands but were not paid reasonable compensation. They said that their lands were gone and now they became jobless. Later, contract teachers working with tribal welfare schools who met him told him that him and said that they were under the threat of termination and appealed to him to support their cause.
During his walk in PR Valasa village, he enquired about their problems and assured to take care of their future if he comes to power. A huge number of people from Relli community met him and appealed to him to set up a separate corporation and allot good amount for their welfare.
