Role of nursing staff in govt schemes stressed
Tirupati: In the effective implementation of important schemes such as NTR Vaidya Seva of State government and Ayushman Bharat of Central government, the role of nursing staff was key along with the doctors, observed SVIMS Director Dr TS Ravikumar.
Speaking at the national conference on “An Update–Recent Advances in Paediatric Nursing” organised by College of Nursing, SVIMS University here on Saturday, he complimented those attending the conference for their interest and curiosity in enhancing their knowledge skills and updating the modern developments in the field of nursing care.
The aim of this conference was to empower the nursing professionals on recent advances in paediatric nursing, paediatric medicine, neonatology, paediatric surgery and other areas.
The goal of this initiative was to highlight and impart the knowledge, skills in recent advances in paediatric nursing that will assist to establish, sustain and promote standard paediatric care across the country.
The Registrar and Academic Advisor Dr TC Kalawat has said that revolutionary changes have been coming up in the field of modern paediatric nursing which the students and faculty should be aware of to extend good services to the patients.
Speakers Dr A Padmaja, S Malarkodi, SK Mohana Sundari, Prof P Prema Latha, S Ramya and U Dandhargi have delivered lectures on various aspects pertaining to recent advances in paediatric nursing. Organising Secretary Dr Padmaja, SVIMS Nursing College Principal Dr P Sudha Rani and others were present.
