BJP wants CBI probe into corruption in AP
Rajamahendravaram: Urban MLA Dr Akula Satyanarayana has demanded that the Central government order for a CBI inquiry into rampant corruption of state government immediately. Corruption spread to all departments in the state, he alleged.
Participating in a dharna at Sub-Collector's office here on Tuesday, against the corruption and land scams under TDP rule, he said Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu had shattered the dreams of people with his ‘anti-people’ policies.
The people were vexed with the government as they have to pay money from top to bottom for every work.
The people were astonishing about corruption in land acquisition for Amaravathi and misuse of funds relating to Polavaram project, he said.
“TDP is making baseless allegations against Central government when it was asked about the details relating to funds given to state government.
The people are watching TDP government's function and they decided to teach a lesson to TDP in the forthcoming elections,” he added.
BJP leaders KB Singh, A Gopi, YR Babu, N Padmasri and others were present.
