PACE registered for IIC programme by AICTE

Ongole: The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences here has been registered under the newly launched programme, Institute Innovation Council, by the All India Council of Technical Education.

The college management announced that the Department of Human Resource Development in the Union government is encouraging students to research and innovate on new technologies and setup their own startups further by enhancing their skills of creativity, knowledge and implementation of the skills. 

These Institute Innovation Councils will encourage and guide the students in the research and run their startups from the incubation centers.
 
The AICTE approved registrations from nearly 1,000 institutions in the country and about 30 from the State. The management announced that PACE is registered under the IIC programme in Prakasam district.

The management of the PACE announced that the AICTE vice-chairman Dr MP Punia presented the registration certificate, recognising the Institution Innovation Council established in the college, to the secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar in the programme held in New Delhi. 

College principal Dr M Srinivasan, director of planning and development Dr Sukumar Puhan were also present at the ceremony.
