Gynace ICU in govt hospital inaugurated

Rajamahendravaram: Collector Karthikeya Misra has said that the government is initiating steps to strengthen government hospitals in the state by providing necessary medical equipment, medicines and surgical instruments. 

The government is also providing quality medical aid to the patients on par with private hospitals, he said.

Inaugurating Gynace ICU in government headquarters hospital here on Tuesday, he said the ICU would benefit a lot to women after delivery. As many as six beds, monitor and other necessary equipment was provided in the hospital.

He directed hospital superintendent Dr T Ramesh Kishore to maintain the ICU effectively as the government spent an amount of Rs 32 lakh on it. 

It was the duty of the doctors to attend to the patients carefully and give quality medical aid, as they come to the hospital with a hope that they can get good treatment.

Election observer MK Meena, Rampachodavaram Sub-Collector Dr Vinod Kumar, corporation Commissioner Sumit Kumar and others were present.
