APTF fields candidate for MLC election

  Rajamahendravaram: APTF West Godavari district president and Graduate Constituency MLC candidate RVVM Srinivasa Rao has said that first time APTF was contesting in the elections.

Speaking to reporters at Press Club here on Tuesday, he said that addressing teachers’ problems was the agenda of APTF and appealed to the graduate voters to elect him as MLC from the constituency.

After 18 years of service, he took voluntary retirement and contesting in the elections with a noble cause. As a teacher, he knew all the problems of teaching fraternity and he would resolve them on priority.

In earlier elections also, a teacher was elected as MLC from the graduates constituency and with that inspiration he took a decision to contest in the elections. Manifesto would also be released on Rs 100 stamp paper, he promised.

APTF state secretary Hrudaya Raju said APTF came into existence in the year 1944 from Tapeswaram and appealed to the graduate voters to elect Srinivasa Rao.
