NICE establishes centre at QIS

Ongole: The internationally renowned core applications training centre, National Instruments Centre of Excellence established its centre at QIS College of Engineering and Technology in Ongole on Friday.

Its academic programs manager Solaikutti Dhanabal and distributions director Murali Krishnan inaugurated the center in the college, announced the secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and Nidamanuri Educational Society president Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao.

In the inaugural function, Dhanabal announced that about 35000 companies worldwide are utilising their services. He said that they are training students in latest technologies that are wanted by the core companies, bridging the students and companies for immediate employment. 

Murali Krishnan said that the students used to go to the USA learn technologies to work in Microsoft and Google 10 years ago, but they are now available in 100 National Instruments Centers in the country.

Nageswara Rao said that there are six NI centers in the state and only one center is in Prakasam district, at QIS College of Engineering and Technology. 

With the establishment of the NI Center, he announced that the college reached another milestone. 

He said that they brought the center to help the students to reach their goals by updating themselves in the technology for every six months. 

He said that the centre serves for the needs of students not only from the QIS College of Engineering and Technology but it is open for all ECE, EEE and mechanical engineering students in the district. 

He advised the staff also to upgrade their skills at the NI centre, that was established with large investment.

The QISCET principal Dr Dhulipalla Venkatarao, QIS corporate relations director Sudhir Kekre and coordinator for the National Instruments Center Lavanya and other staff also present in the programme.
