Yadadri Temple works inspected

Vijayawada: Dr E Sivanagi Reddy, Sthapati and CEO, the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) inspected the construction works as Member Expert Committee, Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple, Yadagirigutta, built by Yadagirigutta Temple Development Authority (YTDA), Government of Telangana on Friday.

Dr Reddy along with other members Dr P Subramani in the presence of S Sundara Rajan, Sthapati, Advisor and Dr Velu, Additional Sthapati Advisor of the Temple inspected the Upper and Inner Prakaras, five storied and three storied Raja Gopurams, Main temple Alwar Mandapam and Sivalayam and complimented the YTDA for completion of the works on a very fast pace. 

Dr Reddy asked the contractors to complete the works in all aspects by the end of December. 

He said that the temple project is unique and a massive one done in stone with richly carved architectural motifs and sculptures as per the Agama and Silpa Sastras taken up in the recent past in entire Indian context.

He thanked G Krishna Rao, vice-chairman, YTDA for appointing him as Expert Committee Member.
