Master Plan will meet the needs of people: Guda Chairman Ganni Krishna

Kakinada: Godavari Urban Development Authority [GUDA] Chairman Ganni Krishna stated that the requirements of people will be taken in to consideration in framing guide lines for Master plan.

Participating in the awareness programme organised at Municipal Corporation meeting hall on Tuesday to receive people’s representations, Ganni explained various salient features regarding master plan.

On this occasion, Ganni said that last year,  Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu announced development of urban authorities for five cities in the State and GUDA is one among them.  

Ganni Krishna also said that keeping in view the needs of the people for the next three decades, merging of surrounding villages has been taken up. The draft master plan will be developed by March 2019.

Kakinada rural MLA P Anantakakshmi and Kakinada mayor S Pavan spoke on various aspects related to development of surrounding areas under GUDA.  Vice-Chairman of GUDA Dr. R Amarendra Kumar also spoke.
