Phethai moving with 14 kms per hour to reach AP coast

Amaravati: The severe cyclone Phethai is moving very fast towards the coast of Andhra Pradesh. It is located at 450 kms away from the Sriharikota, on the Bay of Bengal. The authorities at the Real Time Governance Centre at the AP Secretariat predicted that the cyclone likely to hit the land between Tuni and Kakinada.

It is estimated that the wind speed will be at least 70 to 80 kms per hour, at the time of the crossing the land. Phethai would cross the coast in the evening of the Monday. The cyclone has been moving towards the coast with an estimated speed of 14 kms per hour.
