Immunisation plays key role in diabetic management

Vijayawada: As many as 500 doctors from various parts of the country, including post graduate doctors from Krishna and Guntur districts participated in the ‘Diabetocon 2018’ organised jointly by Yalamanchi Diabetic Research Foundation and Andhra Pradesh Private Nursing Homes Association (APNA) here on Sunday.

Noted Diabetic specialist and recipient of Padmashri Dr V Mohan from Chennai and noted Endocrinologist and Padmashri Awardee Dr Sheshank R Joshi were presented Gold medals for their contribution to the field of medicine.

Addressing the gathering Dr Sadasiva Rao founder Yalamanchi Diabetic Research Foundation explained about immunisation in diabetes. He said that everyone should have awareness on diabetes and the advanced and latest treatment of diabetes should be made available to everyone. 

He said that with the latest development in treating diabetes one can win over diabetes and lead a normal life. R & D in Diabetes is a continuous process, he added.

Dr Shashank Joshi said that with the continuous research and development and with the help of latest advancement in the process of treating diabetic patient, diabetes can be controlled and the patient can lead a normal happy life.

Dr Mohan explained in detail about the latest developments in the field and the procedures of treating diabetes. He said that this conference would help the upcoming doctors to know about the new developments in the field of diabetes.
