Make strike on Jan 8,9 a grand success: CPM leader V Krishnaiah

Guntur: CPM state secretary V Krishnaiah exhorted people to make the nationwide strike on January 8 and 9 a grand success. He said that they will observe strike against anti-labour policies of the BJP government at the Centre. He addressed a meeting held in the CPM Guntur district office on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that the BJP government is implementing anti-labour policies and agriculture sector is in deep crisis, as a result of which over two lakh farmers committed suicide in the country.

He said that due to demonetisation and the GST several industries were closed and some industries were on the verge of closure. 

CPM district secretary Pasam Rama Rao said corruption is rampant in the state in the TDP government and due to failure of the government unemployment is increasing. 

CPM Guntur city leader N. Bhavannarayana, Appa Rao, Kalidas were among those present.
