Phethai affect: Flight services delayed and diverted

 With the strong winds, under the influence of the severe cyclone Phethai, several flight services temporarily canceled and some flights being diverted.

As there is no advanced information, a big number of flight passengers are waiting at Visakhapatnam airport and some passengers are returning. According to the information, all the operators are monitoring the situation to run the flights.

However, due to the unfavourable climate conditions the flight services canceled till 4 pm today on Monday. At present, there is no possibility to take-off and landing of the crafts in the airport. 

The operators are sharing the information about the delay and canceled of flights to their respective passengers. At present all the flight services scheduled to arrive here are announced that running delay, a senior airport officer told The Hans India.
