PACE becomes member of Indian Concrete Institute

Ongole: The PACE Institute of Technology and Sciences here received the membership of Indian Concrete Institute, announced the college management. They said that the college opened an ICI wing for the use by the civil engineering students in the campus.

The college secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar announced that the membership with the ICI helps in the research and development oriented programmes for civil engineering students, interactions with students from other institutions, paper publications by students, industrial visits, discussions on latest technologies and empowerment of students with advanced skills. 

He said that the ICI also provides special training by its staff and engineers along with the internships and design of new projects.

Sridhar exhibited the membership certificate to the staff on Monday and explained the benefits to them. 

The principal Dr M Srinivasan, director of planning and development Dr Sukumar Puhan, HoD of CSE Dr Chaitanya, HoD of CE G Ganesh Naidu, coordinator D Srinivasa Rao and civil engineering students from the second year also participated in the programme.
