Chandrababu credited for no loss in cyclone

 Rajamahendravaram: Godavari Urban Development Authority (GUDA) chairman Ganni Krishna said that because of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu there was no human or property loss in the district in Phethai cyclone which created panic in the district on Sunday and Monday.

In a press note released here on Tuesday, he said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu directed the officials from time to time and reviewed the condition though he was on other work. His timely advice and direction helped a lot to the people. Many IAS officers were posted in the district to monitor the things and directed Collector Karthikeya Misra a lot in this regard.

In 1996 cyclone to recent Hud Hud and Titli cyclones Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu used his good offices and reduced the loss. As an efficient administrator the chief minister created awareness among people relating to cyclone. He plunged into action immediately at the time of natural calamities and supervise the things by stating there until normalcy restored, Krishna stated.
